Purposeful Activity - Nelson Jacket - Nedd Tweed - Black & Greys
- Hand woven and tailored in London for Daniel Jenkins' Purposeful Activity, the 'Nelson' jacket is designed to have fit without rigidity.
- Softened shoulders and a cotton butterfly yoke allow the tweed to take the natural top line without restricting movement. The lining of the sleeves is cotton.
- Simply cut, this is a jacket that can be dressed up or dressed down: a jacket that can be rolled up and packed into an overnight bag. The french seams maintain the shape, and the natural resilience of the wool banishes creases.
- Working with Daniel Harris of the London Cloth Company I have produced a cloth which is equally at home in town and country. I have called it 'Nedd'.
- The tweed is light but warm. After all, you can’t beat a sheep at its own job.
- The buttons? They are real horn and made in Warwickshire.
- Colour - 'Nedd' tweed: a mixture of black and grey monochrome shades.
